Privacy

What this site collects, which is very little, and what happens when you follow an outbound link.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you by default. BladeIndex is a static site with no accounts, no comments, no advertising network and no third-party analytics scripts. Our hosting keeps standard server logs — IP address, requested page, browser string, timestamp — for security and error diagnosis, and they are rotated automatically.

The email form

If you use the field-notes form, your email address is stored solely to send you the notes you asked for. It is never sold, shared or used for anything else, and every email carries an unsubscribe link that deletes it.

Marketplace links on this site go through /go/ redirects. When you follow one, the destination marketplace may set its own cookies and record that you arrived from BladeIndex; that is how affiliate attribution works and it is governed by their privacy policy, not ours. We receive aggregate statistics from partner programs, never your identity.

Cookies

We set none. Your browser may store the open/closed state of expandable sections locally; that never leaves your device.

Your rights and contact

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be deleted, or object to processing by emailing [email protected]. We answer within 30 days. This policy was last reviewed on 9 September 2026 and any change will be dated here.
